You will be amazed by all the variety of traditional food that you will find, you can also try our traditional Day of the Dead meal "Fiambre" or enjoy of a grilled corn and a refreshing drink, while you look at all the locals getting ready for the kites contest.
People from diferent comunities come from far away with this giant kites in pieces, some of them spend the entire night putting them together, while other spend the night visiting the graves of their beloved ones that past away, painting them and even bringing food for them hoping their soul can have a good meal at least one night each year.
This is a colorful and great celebration, where you can spend the entire morning watching the giant kites getting ready for the afternoon contest, when the best ones will fly and reach the sky.
Each kite has a theme, with different objectives, some of them asking for peace, others for prosperity and many others with dreams and wishes reaching the sky hoping then come true.
